Mental Health Information

Understanding mental health is not an easy walk in the park. I’ve provided several links pertaining to mental health and understanding mental illness.

If you are having thoughts of suicide or know a friend who is please seek immediate help.  Call 1-800-273-TALK (1-800-273-8255) or your local emergency number.

Please check in with loved ones who are suffering with a mental illness.  If you are suffering know you are not alone.

  1. Nothing will help end the stigma as quickly or as effectively as the bunch of us just not accepting it any more.
I speak openly about my Depression, my Anxiety, the ADD for which I can no longer be treated effectively and if nothing else, that lets people know for certain that I’ve got enough on my plate to worry about without having to deal with their insensitivity and ignorance.
Not their fault I’m a lunatic, not my problem that they’re an asshole.
    And you know what?
I’ve probably a better chance of a turnaround than they do.
